I came across a near disaster this week.
I was called in to electrically inspect a property. They said that the Shower had been "fizzing".
Actually the cable had burnt out, what was left was arcing. It was similar at the Consumer unit.
If they had not had called me out and left it for much longer the consequences would have been disastrous.
